Project Description

Florida Memorial University

SRS provided engineering design and construction support services to Florida Memorial College for the construction of the new main campus entrance road and relocation of existing utilities along Wilkie D. Ferguson Way. The scope of work consisted of the preparation designs for the closing and removal of the existing entrance road, in addition to the design and relocation of existing utilities that conflicted with future construction such as the sanitary sewer, gas, compressed air, chiller water lines, and electrical lines. The project encompassed two phases. Phase 1 consisted of the design and preparation of construction documents involving the development of detailed design drawings, specifications, cost opinions, processing applications, permits (civil related), and construction solicitation support services. Phase 2 incorporated construction administration support services, in order to review shop drawings, information requested, construction observation, change orders, requisition approval and final project construction closeout.
