SRS made the site civil engineering design plans and specifications for the construction of several fire rescue stations in Miami-Dade County. Services rendered the design of site utilities (water, fire and sewer), site grading, drainage plans, and parking area paving and grading. Work encompassed the preparation of ERP permits for wetlands and DERM coastal permits, as well as coordinating with local regulatory agencies to obtain approvals on utility connections, preparing and submitting plans and applications for “dry-run” and final review by regulatory agencies. On top of attended project meetings, pre-design field site visits, weekly construction meetings, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFI’s, providing periodic construction observations, and preparing close-out documents. Some Stations included: Homestead Fire Rescue Station No. 16, Doral North Fire Rescue Station No. 69, Model Cities Fire Rescue Station No. 2, and Sunny Isles Beach Fire Rescue Station No. 10.
